How To: Make Play-Doh Roses for a Cute Gift Idea

Make Play-Doh Roses for a Cute Gift Idea

Love making gifts for your loved ones? Here is a tutorial that shows you how to make a play doh rose. It's really easy and fun to make.

The finished rose looks very pretty; just like a real rose. You can also convert this Playdoh rose into a fun gift idea. Add a small post-it note on the stick of the rose, write a sweet personalized message and gift it to your friends or family.

You can also use this playdough rose tutorial as a fun craft idea for your kids. Teach them all about roses. It is a fun way to learn arranging and molding play-doh.

Step 1:

Take playdoh of any color of your choice. Roll out small balls. Make sure that they are all of the same size and a little oval in shape.

Step 2:

After having done that, press each ball in such a way that the upper side is a little broad and the down side is thinner. Then flatten it to make it very very thin.

Do this with every ball - these will form the petals of your rose.

Step 3:

Once all the petals are ready, take one and roll into a cylindrical tube. Then hold it in your hand and start surrounding it with the petals you have just made. Repeat this process with all the petals.

Voila! Your rose is ready.

Step 4:

Now for the message:

Write your message on a Post-It and stick it on a stick. Then, simply take that stick and attach it to the base of the rose.

And there you have - your very own Playdoh rose with cute messages.

Hope you enjoyed this.

It looks really pretty and is very easy to make. Gift it to your loved ones and make their day!
